GBA were asked to look into the feasibility of extending an existing primary school to include a new nursery provision, a second sports hall, new entrance and admin space, art and science rooms and SEN rooms. The strategy proposed is to remove an overgrown bank to one side of the site and place the majority of the requirements under this bank facing into the two play spaces. The landscape would be replaced in the form of a green roof and allotment accessed via stairs from the playground or the new learning spaces.
