Gianni Botsford Architects, Mole Architects and Todd Longstaffe-Gowan have collaborated to create a proposal for a new tourist destination on the island of Kinmen in Taiwan.

The proposal works with the existing landscape condition by exaggeration. The water bodies are enlarged, the resultant spoil is used to increase the scale of the hillocks, and floating houses are proposed in lily pad like clusters. Adjoining the houses a hotel, formed as a new hill in the landscape, looks out in all directions.
