The project works with the old and the new- the original Georgian spaces are being restored in a simple way, with new, contemporary, furniture like insertions added throughout. These insertions include  new second staircase rising up to the top two floors formed in structural glass with ‘floating’ stainless steel treads, which works as a foil to the restored Georgian staircase. Further insertions include a black metal dressing room, a garden room, and a number of bathrooms. The project completed in December 2012.
